Dr. Paul Lohmann® offers a wide range of different Mineral Malates – produced in our plant in Germany.
Sodium Malates are known as acid-regulator, especially in jelly gum or soft candy. All Dr. Paul Lohmann® Sodium Malates have good buffering properties and are suitable for the use in beverages like carbonated soft drinks. Due to the good solubility, the preparation of concentrated solutions is possible as well.
Dr. Paul Lohmann® Calcium Malate with approx. 23 % Calcium is non-hygroscopic, pH-neutral and offers diverse application possibilities. As a stabilizer in combination with e.g. pectin, Calcium Malate can be used in fruit preparations as well as for the fortification of fast melt sticks, jellies or beverages.
Magnesium Malate is an alternative magnesium source which can be used in different types of food supplements. The utilization in liquid applications is also possible, with concentrations up to 30 % NRV of magnesium. Dr. Paul Lohmann® Magnesium Malate is non-hygroscopic, pH-neutral and has a content of approx. 11 % magnesium.
All Dr. Paul Lohmann® Malates are GMO-free, allergen-free and suitable for both a vegan or vegetarian diet.
