Food Sense

Via the brand Fred & Ed, Food Sense produces delicious foods for children that can support a healthy diet.

“Eating together at the table should be fun”. Guided by this idea, Food Sense develops and markets, under the brand name Fred & Ed, innovative food products for children between 4 and 12 years old. Their broad assortment ranges from a variety of sandwich spreads, packaged in handy tubes, to fruit-flavored waters. The mineral waters have reduced sugar levels and are free from any artificial sweeteners.

Food Sense has also developed a range of healthy ‘between meals’ snacks under the brand name Fred & Ed, together with selected suppliers. Offering a simple way to ensure children get the recommended balance of fruit and vegetables, these include mini tomatoes and peppers, apples and blueberries (collaboration with The Greenery) and Kaasrondjes (collaboration with Vergeer Kaas).
