In addition to glycemic control, NAXUS is studied for immune effects
Naxus®, an arabinoxylan extract from wheat, has shown to improve glycemic control, thus avoiding excessive glucose peaks, and thereby lowering the insulin response. EFSA has approved a health claim for blood glucose control for arabinoxylan produced from wheat. Naxus is being studied for immune effects in the EU- fibebiotics consortium3.
